What is Yalla Mangroves

Yalla Mangrove is a local volunteer run initiative based in UAE but with planting partnerships across the globe. It was founded by me, Faris, an environmental enthusiast. I want to dedicate my life for the conservation of our environment. The climate crisis is real and will likely to affect everyone's life and we are unfortunately not prepared for it at all. I firmly believe that the active participation of our youth is very critical in addressing the twin challenges of both climate change and biodiversity loss. These issues will undoubtedly have long-lasting impacts on our future. Hence, I had decided to launch this initiative online to take head on the twin challenge of loss of biodiversity and climate change in UAE and globally.
