Forest Restoration Agency
Forest Restoration Agency(FRA)is a global network of environmentally conscious individuals, founded in June 2018, in Mombasa Kenya by Mr. Mubaarak Abdalla, the current program director of Brain Youth Group, a local youth group in Mombasa working on mangrove conservation in Tudor Creek, Mombasa, Kenya.

 

The main purpose of FRA is therefore to ultimately help the global community bring to an end the undesirable impacts of environmental degradation such as climate change, poverty, food insecurity, the global energy crisis and the imminent human wildlife conflict crisis through forest ecosystems conservation and restoration, and livelihoods improvement.

 

FRA is looking forward to planting 3.5 billion trees across the globe by 2030.

 

The Agency’s mission is conserving nature through planting of a billion trees, ecosystem restoration, wildlife conservation and sustainable livelihood development.

 

Its Vision is Worldwide nature restoration and sustainable livelihood support.

 

The Agency’s goal is to address issues of climate change and natural resource management and protecting nature and wildlife while providing sustainable livelihoods in service of these.

 

We have so far partnered with different organization in the restoration works such as:

We call for more partners to help us achieve our goal in the restoration of I Billion trees by 2030.

Mr Mbaarak Abdalla

The Forest Restoration Agency was founded in 2018 by Mbaarak Abdalla. At the time, he was program director of the Brain Youth Group, a league of passionate conservationists who conduct ecosystem restoration work in Mombasa, Kenya. Through his work on mangrove ecosystem restoration and sustainable development, Mbaarak came up with an idea that would not only help him and his community in Kenya, but would also help the world at large. Mbaarak, through his vision and work with the Forest Restoration Agency, has received overwhelming support from donors, organisations and people around the world eager to help create an operational organisation that is successful in the long-term.
